Barb began travelling at 18 years old with a 2-month trip to Indonesia and Singapore and found a passion for travel. On her return she starting work in a travel agency, some 40 years ago and has continued to travel. Barb bought her own business in 1996 and began her path seeing the world and passing on her experiences to her clients.
Seeing a niche market in medical holidays, in 2005 Barb launched My Body & Spirit, and sends people to Thailand, Vietnam and India for medical treatment specialising in dental, plastic surgery and eye vision surgery.
Travel is an experience and some of Barb’s favourites are trekking with gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in Uganda, cuddling a baby panda in Chengdu, swimming with sea lions in Port Lincoln. Cycling in Central America and hiking the Kokoda Trail.
Ada Hearn
Ada has always had a passion for adventure and wanderlust, having visited 24 countries by the age of 24. Her love for travel was ignited in her earlier years and cemented during her teens on a trip to China, where she discovered the profound beauty of immersing herself in diverse cultures.
Among her cherished travel experiences are biking through the ancient Temples of Bagan in Myanmar, kayaking along the stunning coastlines of Croatia, quad biking in remote Greece and embarking on a road trip from Ireland to Orkney to witness the mesmerizing Northern Lights. Ada eagerly anticipates creating many more unforgettable travel memories in the years ahead and helping you live out your travel dreams.
Her next destination is Sri Lanka and in 2025 she will be escorting a Noosa Travel Group to Egypt.
