Please pay particular attention to the clause covering amendments or cancellations as detailed in their brochure. All wholesalers, cruise lines, airlines & tour operators do impose amendment and cancellation fees. Some travel arrangements may also be non-refundable. It is the responsibility of the client to request the amendment and cancellation fees applicable to their holiday. Noosa Travel reserves the right to also impose amendment and cancellation fees.
Refunds on bookings are subject to the terms and conditions of the supplier. Noosa Travel is not responsible for supplier delays in issuing refunds. In some cases it may take 3-6 months for refunds to be received from suppliers.
Noosa Travel acts as an agent for airlines, tour operators, cruise companies and wholesalers and Noosa Travel cannot be responsible for insolvency of any of these operators. Some travel insurance companies may cover insolvency of travel service providers. Please ask us for more clarification of this if you would like an insurance quote.
Noosa Travel acts as an agent for airlines, tour operators, cruise companies, and wholesalers, and we have an arrangement with these operators to pay us a commission or referral fee. The commissions and referral fees that we receive form part of our fees for services provided and are non-refundable if the services are cancelled or not used. This is the case regardless of whether we engage with customers over the phone, online or in person.
All prices quoted in your confirmation letter are correct at the time of writing. Prices may fluctuate depending on bank rates or exchange rates (if applicable) and are not guaranteed until full payment has been made. Deposits merely hold the reservations and do not guarantee prices.

Travel insurance is highly recommended for all travellers and it is best to take travel insurance once you pay the deposit on your booking. The price varies depending on your age, how long you are travelling for and how much your holiday has cost. Please ensure that you ask your consultant for a travel insurance quote to cover your needs. The insurer must approve pre-existing Medical Conditions so please disclose to your travel consultant if you have pre-existing medical conditions. Some travel insurance companies may cover insolvency of a travel service provider. Please ask us for more clarification of this when you request your travel insurance quote.
If you have taken out another Travel Insurance Policy or believe you have adequate cover from a credit card policy, please advise us of this. We recommend that you check with your credit card company to ensure that you have adequate cover including insolvency and your travelling partner is covered.
All travel insurance policies are non-refundable after the 14 day cooling off period.
Various countries, states and towns around the world and in Australia impose a large number of Airport, Departure and Security Taxes. Where applicable these have been included in the cost of the airline ticket and are shown in the relevant tax boxes. There may be some variations in final costs depending on exchange rate fluctuation and the number of taxes imposed at time of ticketing. Any additional costs or taxes that occur will be required to be paid. You do still pay some taxes at the airport in some countries. Some cities also impose a city tax which is paid direct to the accommodation house on check in, and if this is the case, we will endeavour to advise of these charges on your booking where possible.
Most airlines offer Frequent Flyer Reward Programs - if you are not a member of any of these programs, we are happy to discuss your options and of course the benefits with you, if requested. Similarly, if you are a member of any Frequent Flyer program it is your responsibility to pass on your frequent flyer numbers to your travel consultant so she can put into your booking so that you earn the rewards. As a safeguard it is also advisable to keep all your boarding passes so that you can verify this against your Points Summary after travel has been completed. Noosa Travel holds no responsibility if you do not receive points for your travel.
Passports are required for all international travel. Passports must have a minimum of 6 months validity from the date of scheduled return to Australia, for some countries. Travel documents and airline tickets must exactly match the name and spelling as appears in the passport. Additionally, for security reasons some airlines may require all details as they appear in the passport prior to ticketing. Please ensure that you advise your consultant of the correct details at the time of booking. We will request to sight your passport before any documents can be issued and we will not be liable for any incorrect information given to us nor for any re-issue fees imposed by the airline or tour wholesaler should re-issue of documentation be required. If travelling on any passport other than Australian, you must inform us immediately as it may be necessary to obtain a Re-Entry Visa into Australia or visas for other countries. Whilst we offer full assistance it is the responsibility of each traveller to ensure that they have full and correct documentation to undertake their journey.
Australian passport holders require visas to enter some countries. Some countries allow for a "visa free" stay for tourism purposes. If you are travelling for business this does not always apply. Also, if you or a member of your travelling party has a criminal offence, entry may be denied. Please speak with your travel consultant about this. Some consulates charge visa fees and we reserve the right to charge a service fee if you would like us to obtain this visa on your behalf. Issuance of visas is not the responsibility of your travel agent and we cannot be held responsible should you be unable to obtain the correct visas to undertake your journey.
If you plan to undertake independent travel whilst in Europe or elsewhere our consultants are more than happy to check the itinerary and the various countries you may visit and advise what visas are required, if requested.
For reasons of political unrest, acts of war, terrorism, natural disasters or epidemics & pandemics in certain parts of the world, the Australian Government in conjunction with various other worldwide bodies may decide to issue a Government Advisory warning to Australian passport holders not to travel to that country. In these instances, whilst travel to some countries is not advisable and some clauses of the travel insurance coverage may not be effective we appreciate that some clients may still need to travel to those areas. Whilst we are prepared to make these bookings on our clients' behalf we do so without responsibility or liability.
Should you wish to check with the Dept of Foreign Affairs their web address is www.dfat.gov.au. There is also another service provided to Australian travellers where you are able to register your personal details i.e. passport numbers, contact details in Australia and the countries you will be visiting. Simply register via the website: www.smartraveller.gov.au to utilise this service.
We recommend that you consult your doctor for any medical treatment that you may need when travelling overseas. Some countries do have compulsory vaccinations such as Yellow Fever for some South America and African countries. You must have this injection to travel to these countries and you must have your health certificate with you to confirm you have had the injection. Other countries only have advisable treatments such as Tetanus, Polio, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Typhoid, and Malaria. We recommend you consult your doctor to see which treatments are advisable for the countries you are travelling to. It is the clients responsibility to have the necessary medical treatment for the countries they are travelling to.
If you are wanting to take some foreign cash with you, I suggest you contact your bank to arrange foreign cash or to your closest foreign exchange office. Also check the charges the banks will impose on your credit cards and eftpos cards if you use them whilst overseas. It is your choice as to how you carry your money and Noosa Travel holds no responsibility for your choices.
