Escape to Lady Elliot Island to observe and encounter turtles both above and below the water and learn about conservation efforts underway to protect the vulnerable species. Lady Elliot Island is a significant nesting location for Green and Loggerhead Turtles. Nesting season occurs between November to March, with hatchlings emerging from January to April. Join the 'Turtle Trek' and witness nesting and hatching turtles under the expert guidance of marine biologists, nightly from 7pm- 9pm (tide dependent).
