Arrive at Cairo International Airport where you will be met by our tour Manager who will assist us with our entry formalities through customs and immigration. Transfer to our airport hotel, Le Meridien Cairo Airport Hotel or similar. Once checked in you will have free time the rest of the day.
We will be transferred to Cairo airport for a short flight to Aswan. Upon arrival we will be transferred to our boutique private dahabiya boat, exclusively chartered by Noosa Travel, named the Dahabiya Hadeel on which we will be cruising the Nile. This will be our home for the next 7 nights. In the afternoon, we will take a felucca around the islands, and then cruise through the many islands to the colourful Nubian village where there are markets for shopping. (B, L, D)
Following breakfast, we will travel by private bus to Abu Simbel. We visit Abu Simbel Temple, a carving of an Egyptian pharaoh, Ramesses II, this magnificent temple is both an ancient and modern engineering marvel. We then travel back to Aswan and moor here overnight.

Today we take a short coach ride to the dock to travel by motorboat to visit the island of Philae’s temple sacred to Egypt’s divine mother, Isis. We’ll take ample time here to experience the healing energy of Isis and her island temple. We will then leave Aswan and sail to Kom Ombo, and visit the healing temple of Kom Ombo a glorious, picturesque ruin along the banks of the Nile.

Visit Edfu temple, also known as Horus Temple which is the best-preserved temple of the ancient world. Horus was the falcon-headed god of Egypt, and was the ruler of Egypt. He was the son of the first pharaoh and queen, Isis and Osiris. Set sail to Esna and overnight.

Sail to Luxor. In the evening and under the stars we visit the Temple of Luxor, where R.A Schwaller de Lubicz developed his ‘symbolist’ interpretation of ancient Egypt, and called it the “Temple of Man”.

This morning after breakfast we drive to spend some time exploring the West Bank of ancient Thebes. We will visit the Valley of the Kings and the Valley of Queens, known as the gateway to the afterlife with its Royal Tombs and fascinating history. We also visit the Hatshepsut temple, on your way back you stop at the Colossi of Memnon.

We have an early morning visit to the vast and overwhelming Temple of Karnak.
Transfer to Luxor Airport for a short flight back to Cairo, and on arrival at Cairo Airport you will be transferred to Steigenberger Pyramid Hotel, where you will have a pyramid view room.

After breakfast, you’ll visit the famous Egyptian museum, home to the masterpieces of King Tut Ankh Amon and much more. Followed by a visit to the Old Cairo including St. Sergi church where the Holy family was hidden while they were in Egypt. After lunch, we visit the Mosque of Sultan Hassan. It was built between 1356 and 1363, commissioned by Sultan an-Nasir Hassan. Next stop is the El Refaai Mosque, its name is derived from Ali Abu Shubbak who is buried in the mosque. Now it is also the royal mausoleum of Muhammad Ali’s family. The building was architecturally conceived as a complement to the older structure as part of a vast campaign by the 19th-century rulers of Egypt to both associate themselves with the perceived glory of earlier periods in Egypt’s Islamic history and modernize the city.

In the morning, we are paying our respect to the Sphinx, with a very early start as we have a private viewing between 6 am – 7 am. We continue visiting the Giza Pyramids plateau and get to know more about the mystery of these Pyramids. We will return to the hotel for breakfast. Late in the morning, we will be visiting Sakkara to view the Old Kingdom pyramids on the west bank near ancient Memphis. About 2630 BC Imhotep, architect to King Djoser (Dynasty III), masterminded the Step Pyramid at Sakkara. The world’s oldest freestanding stone structure, this pyramid consists of six tiers atop a mastaba or low oblong tomb, faced with cut stone.

This morning, we will visit the Khan El Khalili Bazaar – the oldest market in Egypt and the souk Khayamiya (tent market). The Khan El Khalili Bazaar is a great shopping market for everything Egyptian including metal lights, lamps, antiques, souvenirs, etc. While being in the Souk of Al-Khayamiya, you will find lot of wall hangings, colourful tapestries and amazing carpets. You need to bargain hard in Egypt for any purchases.
