Today, we will meet you at Melbourne Airport on arrival and drive into the city to our hotel, Hotel Grand Chancellor, where we will have 4 night’s accommodation with breakfast daily. This afternoon we will visit Royal Botanic Gardens, extending across 38 hectares that slope to Yarra where we will have 30mins ride on the Explorer Minibus to look around the gardens. Melbourne Gardens was founded in 1846 when land was reserved on the south side of the Yarra River for a new botanic garden. There is a café and garden shop at the gardens. We will then walk across to the Shrine of Remembrance, Victoria’s national war memorial built in 1934 to honour WWI veterans. Step inside to explore the galleries of Remembrance with over 800 artefacts. From the balcony take in breathtaking views of Melbourne and surrounding gardens.

We will meet for dinner tonight and walk down to Chinatown.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 (B)

DAY TWO- Tuesday 24 March 2026:

This morning after breakfast we will take a tram down to Queen Victoria Markets; it is an authentic, bustling inner-city market that has been the heart and soul of Melbourne for 140 years. Home to over 600 small businesses, it is a great place to discover fresh and specialty produce, hand-made and unique products, great coffee and food, souvenirs and clothing.

From here we will go to Federation Wharf to enjoy a 45 mins cruise on the Yarra River with Melbourne River Cruises. This afternoon we will drive out to Dandenong to Tesselaar Flower Farm for the Kabloom festival. Found in the heart of the scenic Dandenong Ranges, the Tesselaar KaBloom Festival is a vibrant celebration of nature, creativity, and seasonal beauty. They have 5 acres of perineal flowers, as well as entertainment, circus sol performance, and food stalls. Tonight, for dinner, we will choose a restaurant near the street art laneways of Melbourne.

Held in the stunning Royal Exhibition Building and Carlton Gardens, this world-class Melbourne flower show is the largest of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere, attracting thousands of visitors every year. We will have most of the day to explore the show. It is just a short 600m walk to the show from our hotel. DAY FOUR - Thursday 26 March 2026:

This morning we will get an early start as we are going to spend the day at the Mornington Peninsula. We will drive to Brighton and take a walk down to the beach to see the famous colourful Brighton Beach Huts. Brighton Beach is the most recognised of Melbourne’s beaches, and it is the rainbow huts that make it so memorable. From here we will continue to Quarantine Station in Portsea. Point Nepean Quarantine Station offers a glimpse into the early European history of Victoria. Established in 1852, explore nearly 50 heritage-listed buildings. Learn about life at this once-remote location and the station's critical role in protecting Australia from introduced diseases. We will then travel to Montatlo Winery for lunch. Not only does Montatlo have a winery and restaurants, but it also has a sculpture trail that you are free to explore. This afternoon, we will visit Heronswood House and Garden. Heronswood is a breathtaking historic property situated on two hectares of formal gardens in Dromana. It is the home of the Digger's Club and Foundation - Australia's most respected gardening organisation, dedicated to preserving heirloom seeds and the best gardening traditions. The gardens comprise stunning perennial and annual borders as well as kitchen and vegetable parterre gardens, providing inspiration to cooks and gardeners.

Take time to walk through their amazing garden and explore their garden shop.

We will have dinner at a local restaurant near our hotel tonight.                                                                                                                    (B)
